Another Britain's Got Talent: The Champions contestant has been 'confirmed'
It will be great to see them back

They raced their way straight into the live semi-finals and the nation's hearts after Alesha Dixon pressed her Golden Buzzer for them back in 2017. So, it comes as a fantastic surprise to hear that the MerseyGirls are set to RETURN to the BGT stage when the new series of Britain's Got Talent: The Champions starts on our screens.
And the girls' return to the stage will be even more emotional than the first, as it will be the first time they have been reunited on-screen with Simon Cowell, after he paid £175,000 for their lead dancer Julia Carlisle to have two operations on her spine.
A source told The Metro, ‘This will be Julia’s first time back on Britain’s Got Talent since the operation and it’s set to be really emotional'. It is said she and the girls are set to join Susan Boyle in the all stars contest, which airs later this year.
Moving the audience at their first audition, Julia revealed she had scoliosis, which made her back twisted. She went on to say how dancing on the show would be her last attempt at securing her dreams before having surgery, which had unknown outcomes.
Alesha, who was moved to tears, then gave Julia's last attempt one HUGE boost by sending them through to the live shows. This was then made even better, by Simon revealing live to the studio that he wanted to fly Julia out to America and pay for her operations.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo after her operation, Julia said, "I’ll be able to dance in another two months which is crazy because without the other surgery I just wouldn’t have been able to.
"In the future MerseyGirls can carry on dancing for ever and ever, which is what we always dreamt of, so the surgery is literally the best thing that has ever happened".
Whilst they didn't win the £250,000 or the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Show, MerseyGirls have gone on to have an amazing career after the show, performing at live events all across the UK.
