They are two of the biggest entertainment shows around, with fans looking forward to new episodes every week, so viewers of Saturday night shows Britain's Got Talent and The 1% Club won't be pleased to learn both shows won't appear on the schedule this weekend.

That's right, on Saturday 15th March, both award-winning shows have been taken off air due to ITV/STV coverage of the Six Nations Rugby Championships, which is scheduled to air between 7.15pm-10.35pm.

When are they back on TV?

Fans will be pleased to know that both shows will return to the Saturday night schedule next weekend on 22nd March.

Britain's Got Talent returned to our screens in an early slot this year, taking over from Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, as the show is currently on a hiatus. Series 18 of BGT will be the longest in the show's history, with a number of format changes to shake the show up.

As well as KSI joining the judging panel, the five semi-finals and final will all air on Saturday nights, instead of being shown across one week. According to reports, the live shows will begin on Saturday 26th April, airing every week until the final on Saturday 31st May.

Although the new series only started on 22nd February, already Simon Cowell, KSI, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and hosts Ant and Dec have used their Golden Buzzers, with the judges also introducing a 'group buzzer' last weekend, for light show act The Blackouts.

Meanwhile, fans are also loving the forth series of The 1% Club, hosted by comedian Lee Mack. Since it first hit our screens in April 2022, the competition has become one of the most popular gameshows around, with bosses already renewing it for a fifth series.

Bosses are on the lookout for new contestants, with the website stating: 'This show is all about how people’s brains work rather than what you learnt at school. Because of this, people of any age or background should have an equal chance of making it into The 1% Club.

'We encourage people from all ethnic backgrounds, sexuality and those who are D/deaf and/ or disabled to apply as we want to show a true representation of the UK. If you need special assistance in order to complete this application, please contact [email protected].'
