It's been nearly two years since we've had a full album release from Dutch DJ Tiësto, who released 'The London Sessions' in May 2020, and now he's revealed he could be due to release another album this year.

The DJ, who's recent release with Ava Max, 'The Motto' is a massive hit, told Level One magazine in a recent interview, that he has been working on a new album. "Yeah. I’m working on one at the moment," he said.

"This one is going to take a little bit longer because of the success of my other tracks – the record label wants them to have a little more juice."

He continued: "I think the new album should be finished by February and then come out in the summer."

During the interview, Tiësto also revealed that he has two songs he worked on with the late Swedish DJ Avicii, however he said: "We made a track together years ago and we wanted to release it. Actually, I have two tracks with him. We never really finished both of them.

"After he passed away. I didn’t know if he would have wanted them to be released; so I decided not to."

Tiësto's last album 'The London Sessions' featured music with Becky Hill, Jonas Blue, Rita Ora, and many more artists. He revealed how the album was recorded saying: "I spent a month in London, met up with all the best songwriters and we had a lot of session.

"I feel like that’s how albums are gonna be from now on: they’ll be a vibe and not necessarily just like 10 songs put together. It’ll be more like: ‘Yeah, this is where I’m at, my headspace.' and really try to close it out within three months from start to finish."

Tiësto has been a big name in the dance music world for many years, but had limited success in the UK charts. It was in 2013 that his song 'Red Lights' reached the Top 10, and more recently, 'Jackie Chan', 'God Is a Dancer' with Mabel, 'The Business' and last year's 'The Motto' have all been Top 20 hits.

How take a look at Tiësto's collaborations:
