P!nk reveals her least favourite songs from her back catalogue
She's explained why
Last updated 10th Oct 2023
P!nk is known for some of her massive songs dating right back to the early noughties. With hits such as 'Just Like A Pill' and 'Get The Party Started', right up to the present day with 'Runaway' and 'Trustfall', you're bound to know and love a P!nk song.
However, the artist has now revealed that there are a couple of songs from her back catalogue that she DOESN'T like, giving her reasons why. 👀
While P!nk is known for writing a number of very meaningful songs, often drawing from her experiences, there was one comedy song, which isn't one of her favourites.
Speaking to LA Times, P!nk revealed: "I did put out that SpongeBob thing - 'We've Got Scurvy', I wish I never did that. That was a real mistake."
And with lyrics like: 'Our gums are black / Our teeth are falling out / We've got spots on our back, so give it up and shout / We've got scurvy / We need some Vitamin C / We've got scurvy / We need a lemon tree,' we can probably see her point. 🙈
In case you need a reminder of what it was like....
Another song that P!nk doesn't like is 'True Love', the song that was written about her husband Carey Hart, however it isn't a love song. She told LA Times why she didn't like it: "Because it’s mean. Carey’s got thick skin, but I owe him a love song."
The lyrics for 'True Love' are: 'Sometimes I hate every single stupid word you say / Sometimes I wanna slap you in your whole face (whoa oh oh) / There's no one quite like you, you push all my buttons down/ I know life would suck without you (whoa oh oh) / At the same time, I wanna hug you/ I wanna wrap my hands around your neck'.
Despite having two songs she really doesn't like, P!nk also revealed a couple of her favourites, which are 'So What' and 'Get the Party Started'. She explained: "'So What' was fun from start to finish - writing it, singing it, performing it, the video."
