Ah Lewis Capaldi, he's one of Scotland's biggest stars with massive hits across the globe, sold-out tours, millions of social media followers, and he's BFFs with One Direction star Niall Horan, but the Glaswegian's life could have been VERY different if he didn't get his big break in the music industry.

In a new interview with the Daily Mirror, the 'Someone You Loved' hit maker has revealed he would have been a fishmonger if his music didn't take off, despite hating fish! 🙈

Speaking to the publication, Lewis revealed his dad Mark has his own fish shop, saying, “My Dad is a fishmonger. He has a fish shop, one that sells fresh fish – KP’s Fresh Fish.

“So I’d probably work there. But I hate fish. I hate the smell of fish and I can’t look at prawns in the face.”

As well as his debut album 'Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent' staying at Number 1 in the UK Charts for a massive 10 weeks, his single 'Someone You Loved' broke records when it stayed in the top ten for an incredible 31 weeks.

Earlier this year Lewis also picked up two BRIT Awards for 'Best New Artist' and 'British Single', with the singer giving a hilarious acceptance speech referencing his ex-girlfriend, Winter Love Island star Paige Turley.

Meanwhile, the Scot has been keeping his fans entertained throughout lockdown, posting videos of himself dancing to One Direction, and even taking part in a home photo shoot after receiving a ring light as a gift off his brother.
