Is James Arthur's Glasgow gig going ahead?

James wrote: 'for those of you asking about glasgow tomorrow, it will definitely be going ahead.. tonight was just too soon for the meds to bring my voice back. by tomorrow evening i would’ve had two and half days recovery from the infection I caught this past weekend. Nottingham I’m so sorry once again but we are rescheduling this show very soon so please hold on to your tickets 🙏' (sic)
Why was James Arthur's Nottingham gig postponed?
Sharing a heartfelt statement ahead of his Nottingham gig, James explained the reason for postponing the show, telling fans that he will risk longterm damage if he performs.
The statement was shared by the venue, saying: '"I am absolutely heartbroken to postpone this show but if I was to sing through this particular illness, I risk long term damage. It’s also so important to me to give you the best version of me on stage and a show you deserve. I am incredibly sorry for any inconvenience, this is the last thing I wanted to do, thank you for all the love and support, and I promise I will make it up to you as soon as I can. Love JA xx”'
When will the show be rescheduled for?
There is no word yet on when the show will be rescheduled for, however fans are being told to keep hold of their tickets and will be entitled to a full refund if they can't make the new date.
'Pisces Tour 2026'
James started the UK leg of his tour on 31st January in Belfast, where he performed his hits to thousands of fans. Sharing photos from his Belfast performance, James wrote: 'Back on the road. Unreal first night in Belfast. Dublin, see you tonight.'
Fans were so happy to see him back on stage with one writing: 'So excited to see you tonight💙 ready for that karaoke session'.
Another wrote: 'can’t wait to see you in Glasgow on Wednesday!! 🩵💙'. (sic)
Speaking to us about his album before its release, James said: "When you look into the characteristics of a Pisces, typically they're very creative, sensitive, dreamy... Dreamers, like essentially, so I thought well, that could be the kind of yard stick for all of the songs. As long as they feel like me, what it feels like to be me, then they'll make the cut."
