James Arthur reveals who he wants to win The X Factor: Celebrity
He told us all about it!
Last updated 18th Nov 2019
'Say You Won't Let Go' singer James Arthur performed in Liverpool on Friday (15th Nov), where he spoke all about his new album 'You', his plans for Christmas, and of course, that amazing performance on The X Factor: Celebrity.
Of course, if you don't already know, James returned to The X Factor stage a few weeks back, where he brilliantly performed his amazing single 'Quite Miss Home', so we just had to ask him who he thinks will win the celebrity version of the show.
James revealed he thinks former TOWIE star Megan McKenna will win this year's show, saying, "I think Megan McKenna will win, she’s really good. It’s like a country vibe and she’s really good at it so i think she will win."
Meanwhile, ahead of his performance to the sold-out crowd at Hits Live Liverpool, James also confirmed he still gets nervous before performances. He told Fleur, "Yeah of course, it's always different I think. Shows like this, you’ve got a great line-up and I’m last on the bill so I don't know if that means people are expecting something massive from me.”
With the release of the 2019 John Lewis advert in the last week, we wanted to know if James would ever be up for performing the single for the hugely-popular adverts. He joked, "Who wouldn’t, it’s probably a lot of money!"
He then added, "I’m just joking, it’s not about the money - I don’t know how it works, do you audition for it? Is there a man called John Lewis somewhere?"
We'd love to know James! 🙈
James has recently released his new single, 'Quite Miss Home'. The Hits Live performer confirmed his new single along with the release of his new album 'YOU', with an emotional video. The black and white video features James explaining his inspiration for the album and how the album is about his fans.
