HRVY the singer is fast becoming a well-known musician, especially after his collaboration with Jonas Blue on 'Younger' back in 2019. HRVY released his first single 'Thank You' in February 2013, and was a support act for Little Mix in May 2014 on their 'Salute' tour. In 2015, he became a guest presenter on BBC's Friday Download, and became a full-time host of the show in that year.
HRVY signed with Virgin EMI in February 2017 and put out his EP 'Holiday', releasing second EP 'Talk To Ya' in November that year. He went on a tour with boyband RoadTrip for Christmas In 2017, and supported The Vamps on their 'Night and Day' tour with Conor Maynard.
HRVY performed at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in 2018, singing some of his own songs and a cover of 'Mama' by Jonas Blue, who he later went onto work with on 'Younger', released in September 2019. Also in 2018, HRVY's song 'Hasta Luego' with Malu Trevejo appeared in the closing credits for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Is HRVY dating Mimi Slinger?
In October 2021, rumours circulated that HRVY was dating Emmerdale actress Mimi Slinger.
The pair were said to have met at the National Television Awards, with a source revealing: "HRVY and Mimi are completely loved up." HRVY and Mimi later appeared on the red carpet together looking loved-up.
HRVY on Strictly Come Dancing
In September 2020, HRVY was announced as a contestant for the 2020 series of Strictly Come Dancing!
Announcing the news on KISS Breakfast with Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely, HRVY said, "I'm so excited, I'm well nervous though I won't lie. I'm proper nervous. But I'm buzzing, I'm buzzing!
"I don't think it's the dancing, I think it's like the tight shirts and the tight trousers and that. I'm not too sure, but I'm excited to be on the telly. I'm excited for my mum and nan to watch they are buzzing, they're just as excited as I am."
Did HRVY win Strictly Come Dancing?
Unfortunately not! Despite making it all the way to the final and impressing with his partner Janette Manrara, HRVY was pipped to the top spot by comedian Bill Bailey.
Which dances did HRVY do on Strictly Come Dancing?
Week One - Jive
HRVY shocked everybody during Week One of the show with his amazing dance skills, working his hips whilst performing a Jive to 'Faith' by Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande.
Week Two - Viennese Waltz
In Week Two, HRVY showed off his slow dance moves, performing a Viennese Waltz to 'Stuck With U' by Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
Week Three - Cha Cha
For Movie Week, HRVY and Janette dressed as gnomes from the movie Gnomeo & Juliet, performing an amazing Cha Cha to 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart'.
Week Four - Salsa
HRVY scored his highest marks so far whilst performing a Salsa to 'Dynamite' by BTS.
Week Five - Tango
HRVY impressed viewers at home with his Tango in Week Five, performing to Harry Styles' 'Golden'.
Week Six - Couple's Choice
HRVY performed a street dance routine in Week Six, to Coldplay's 'Sky Full Of Stars'.
Week Seven - American Smooth
HRVY and Janette took on the American Smooth to 'One (Singular Sensation) from A Chorus Line for Musicals Week - coming out on top of the leaderboard for a second week in a row with a score of 29/30!
Week Eight - Rumba and Charleston
HRVY performed two dances in the semi-final, and it was certainly a mix of emotions!
Up first, HRVY and Janette performed a Rumba, but the judges weren't too impressed, scoring him just 23/30.
Despite finding himself bottom of the leaderboard after his Rumba, HRVY pulled things back with an amazing Charleston, which resulted in the perfect 30/30.
The Final - American Smooth, Showdance and Jive
HRVY was tasked with learning three dances for the final on Saturday 26th December! The singer performed a Showdance to 'Boogie Wonderland', before going on to a Jive and the American Smooth.
What scores did HRVY get on Strictly Come Dancing?
Week One - 25/30
After his Jive in Week One, HRVY topped the leaderboard with a score of 25/30. Both Craig and Shirley scored him an 8, with Motsi giving him a 9!
Week Two - 25/30
Following another amazing performance in Week Two, HRVY yet again topped the leaderboard with a score of 25/30. Craig and Motsi both awarded him an 8, with head judge Shirley scoring a 9.
Week Three - 21/30
Week Three wasn't the best of weeks for HRVY, with the singer's score dropping to 21/30, putting him in the middle of the leaderboard. He received a 6 from Craig, a 7 from Shirley and an 8 from Motsi.
Week Four - 27/30
HRVY picked up his highest score of the series so far in Week Four, whilst performing a Salsa to 'Dynamite' by BTS.
Week Five - 26/30
It wasn't his best week in terms of results, but HRVY still sat in fourth place on the leaderboard, scoring 26/30.
Week Six - 30/30
HRVY made history by getting the first ever full score in Week Six! He and Janette performed a Street Dance to 'Sky Full of Stars' by Coldplay - and it's safe to say the judges and viewers both loved it!
Week Seven - 29/30
He topped the leaderboard for the second week in a row for Musicals Week in Week Seven, performing an American Smooth to 'One (Singular Sensation)' from A Chorus Line - and it really was sensational!
Week Eight - 53/60
Despite finding himself bottom of the leaderboard following his Rumba, HRVY impressed during his second dance of the semi-final, resulting in an overall score of 53/60.
The Final - 88/90
HRVY really brought out his best for the final, receiving an overall score of 88 out of 90 for his final three dances. After scoring the perfect 30/30 for his American Smooth, the judges then scored him 29/30 for both his Jive and his Showdance, putting him in joint first on the leaderboard alongside Bill and Maisie.

Did HRVY have Covid-19?
Just weeks ahead of the Strictly Come Dancing launch show, HRVY revealed to his social media followers that he's tested positive for Covid-19.
He wrote, 'hi, wasn’t gonna worry anyone and say anything but now the story’s out, i have coronavirus, I’m all good, no symptoms, just isolating for the next 10 days. already super bored so prepare yourselves for my Tik toks'. (sic)
Updating his loyal fans on his Instagram Story, HRVY said, "Hi guys, so I wasn't going to say anything because I didn't want to worry anybody or be dramatic but now the story's out there. I have coronavirus. I've tested positive.
"All is fine, I'm isolating. I have no symptoms. I'm just chilling. I'm bored. I've been making a million TikToks if you haven't seen already.
"It just proves that us youngsters can get it and not even realise."
HRVY later updated his fans on Thursday 8th October to reveal he's now tested negative.
He wrote, 'he’s free from Covid, he’s a free elf now, tested negative, thank you for all the kind messages, love you guys so much, stay safe and see you soon 🖤'. (sic)

No, they didn't. During HRVY's appearance on the 2020 series of Strictly Come Dancing, rumours were rife that he was dating fellow contestant and former EastEnders actress Maisie Smith.
However, HRVY appeared on daytime show Lorraine to shut down the claims, revealing the pair are just 'friends'.
He told the host, "Lorraine, I would tell you if anything was going on, trust me I would. We are just friends. Because of the whole pandemic, no one can be within two metres of each other."
"But we are just friends, we are just dancing but she is a very lovely girl. Very talented, very beautiful, but for now we are just focusing on the old dancing.”
