Ed Sheeran opens up on rumours he's re-recording 'End Game' with Taylor Swift
They collaborated in 2017
Ed Sheeran has opened up about the rumours that he will be re-recording the collab he did with Taylor Swift back in 2017, 'End Game'. The 'Eyes Closed' singer revealed that he hasn't got the call yet from the 'Anti-Hero' singer, who is currently on her 'Eras' tour, to re-record the song, which originally also featured Future, and appeared on her 'Reputation' album.
Speaking to Andy Cohen on his podcast, Deep & Shallow, Ed said: "No, I haven’t. No. No. But '1989' (Taylor’s Version) is the next one coming out. That’s the next one."
As fans will know, Taylor is currently re-recording her old albums due to a dispute with her former manager, she announced during her last North American gig that '1989' (Taylor's Version), would be the next to be released, on 27th October.
During the interview, Ed was also asked if he's had the chance to see his friend Taylor on tour, but he admitted he hadn't. The pair are both on tour at the moment, and he explained they are both performing on the same days, however perhaps next year, when Taylor brings her 'Eras' tour to the UK he will be able to see her in concert.
Meanwhile, Ed who is on his own tour in North America has recently been teasing some new music. The singer, who surprised shoppers in a Lego shop, also showed off a new Lego mini figure which has the words Autumn Is Coming written on it.
Since originally posting that he has also shared a video in the style of a mock advert, where Ed is telling fans to 'order your mulch and baked beans' by calling an American number.
