Vicky Pattison celebrated her 31st birthday on Friday 16th November and what should have been a happy day, was extremely difficult for the television personality. Vicky has posted a heartfelt tribute to her best friend Paul Burns who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Vicky, who has also had to endure the heartbreak of calling off her engagement to John Noble, posted a photo with her friend on Instagram with the caption, 'Yesterday was among other things, my first birthday without this man. I’ll never get over the pain of losing a best friend so suddenly and cruelly. But I know you wouldn’t want me to be sad forever sweet Paul. So we had a drink for you last night and I thought about all the advice you would give me if you were here.'

Paul died on the 2nd June this year aged 34-years-old, after celebrating his own birthday with Vicky. The last part of her tribute read, ''I will miss you for the rest of my life but I know you knew how much we all loved you and that provides me with some small solace. I love you @mrpaulburns1, we all do and THANK YOU for being a part of my life.'

Vicky has been putting a brave face on after her fiancé John Noble had been caught getting close to another woman while on holiday in Dubai.

Vicky had previously revealed that she had postponed her wedding but now it seems like things could be over for good after she's appeared on TV without her wedding ring. After the pictures of John spread over the Internet, Vicky took to Instagram to post a cryptic message to her fans. It read, 'Even in your darkest times, remember that everyone is fighting a battle that you may know nothing about. Please always be kind. #worldkindnessday2018'.

It's unclear who the message was aimed at, but Vicky received plenty of well-wishes from her fans.
