The TOWIE cast’s Mannequin Challenge didn’t quite go to plan
Not everybody got the memo!
It’s the craze that’s sweeping the nation so it’s no surprise the cast of The Only Way Is Essex attempted their own Mannequin Challenge, however unfortunately for them it didn’t exactly go to plan.
As cast members including Megan McKenna, Pete Wicks, Chloe Sims and Liam Gatsby took part in the new craze, they found their chosen location for the challenge wasn’t the best when not everyone in the building got the ‘act like a mannequin’ memo…
In the video uploaded by Liam Gatsby, it starts well but after a few seconds a passer-by walks past in the shot. OOOPS!

Gatby’s fans were quick to notice the unfortunate mistake, one user wrote ‘Love it but there’s someone walking in the background oops’.
However, it seems their attempt was still loved by TOWIE fans with nearly 25k views on the video to date.
In other TOWIE news, the cast have filmed their annual Christmas special which is titled The Only Way Is Essexmas. Of course the cast of the popular reality show always get into the Christmas spirit and even recorded their own version of ‘Last Christmas’ back in 2011.

Meanwhile, last week it was reported that cast member Jon Clark had to be rushed to A&E when he slipped and hit his head whilst filming ice skating scenes.
Jon was filming alongside the likes of Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows at an ice rink in Essex when he fell over and hit his head. Photos from the scene show the Clark brother being taken away by paramedics on a stretcher.

A fan of the show witnessed the incident and told a national newspaper, “I was sitting in the car park eating some fish and chips and scrolling through Snapchat when I saw a post from him saying he'd hurt himself. He said he was on gas and air and that he'd been filming for the TOWIE Christmas special.”
Despite complaining from back pains, it’s understood that Jon has now made a full recovery.
The TOWIE Christmas special is set to air on ITVBe in December. We can’t wait!
