Tom Daley shares pic from hospital bed days before wedding

British diver Tom Daley has worried fans after he posted a photo of him in hospital, just days before he is apparently due to wed his partner Dustin Lance Black.

Tom posted the photo of him in a hospital bed drinking a cup of tea, saying, 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 #AthleteLife Back on the board soon 👌🏻', without any explanation as to what has happened.

Concerned fans immediately left comments asking the 22-year-old what had happened and wishing him a speedy recovery.

Although Tom has yet to comment officially on what has happened he did respond to a worried fan on Twitter saying, 'I'm getting old...my hips needed some help 🙈'.

Just days before posting his hospital pic Tom appeared to be in fine health, posting a photo of Dustin walking across the Thames to St Paul's Cathedral.

At the end of April he also posted a video on YouTube for a 20 minute workout to get you fit for the summer!

Tom is reportedly due to marry Dustin, who is 20 years his senior, this weekend at a lavish ceremony with family and friends. The pair announced their engagement in October 2015, two years after they started dating.
