Tom Daley and diving partner Daniel Goodfellow won bronze in the Olympics 10m synchronised diving last night and now Tom’s fiancé Dustin Lance Black has shared a cute message of congratulations to the athlete.

After witnessing his partner scoop bronze on the final dive of the competition in Rio, Dustin shared a snap of himself and Tom with the medal and told fans just how proud he was of his fiancé.

Taking to Instagram to post the photo, Dustin wrote ‘So happy for you. So proud #TeamGB #TeamDaley #Diving #Rio2016’.

Tom and Dan, who are enjoying their first Olympics together, finished third behind gold medal winners China who racked up an incredible 496.98 points and second place pair USA who scored 457.11 points.

After receiving their deserved medals, 22-year-old Tom took to Instagram to post his own message from the pool side. Posing alongside Dan he wrote ‘OLYMPIC BRONZE MEDALISTS!! I can’t believe it! So proud of you @dangoodfellow’.

Tom’s fiancé Dustin has been fully supportive of Tom throughout his Olympic journey and was in the arena to witness the medal win.

Despite the 20 year age gap between the couple, they announced their engagement in a very traditional way back in 2015. Going against the usual social media post, the pair decided to post a note in the paper to announce the news.

Tom will be hoping to continue his success as he strives for his first Olympic gold medal in the men’s 10m individual platform event next week.

The diver won bronze in the event at London 2012 but believes he is ready to compete against the Chinese for the gold medal.
