The Greatest Showman's Sam Humphrey 'fighting for his life'
He suffers from Crohn's Disease

The Greatest Showman actor Sam Humphrey is reportedly 'fighting for his life' in an LA hospital, after suffering complications of chronic inflammatory bowel condition, Crohn's Disease.
Sam, who plays the role of Charles Stratton in the hugely popular movie The Greatest Showman, has been in hospital for a number of weeks and is undergoing 'high-risk' surgery. According to reports from American website TMZ, Sam's condition has worsened due to the fact he also suffers from skeletal dysplasia, a condition which is more commonly known as dwarfism.
According to the NHS, Crohn's disease is a lifelong condition in which parts of the digestive system become inflamed. The most popular symptons of the condition include diarrhoea, stomach aches, tiredness and weight loss,
Meanwhile, New Zealand actor Sam first shot to fame when he appeared alongside the likes of Zac Efron, Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams and Zendaya in 2017 movie The Greatest Showman.
The film achieved massive success both in the UK and around the world, with popular tracks such as 'This Is Me', 'Rewrite The Stars' and 'Come Alive'.
Speaking about working alongside Hugh Jackman, Sam previously said, "Hugh is very radiant, majestic and tall; no wonder I always look up to him (just a short joke, double pun!) But seriously he’s truly a legend! Can’t wait to work with him again."
As well as The Greatest Showman, Sam has also appeared in Neighbours and Jeremy The Dud.
