Superhero Trailer Unveiled
We've had Smallville that tracked the early years of Superman and now CBS have created a show that will tell us the story of Supergirl and how she came to be a Superhero.
Starring Glee actress Mellissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who arrived on Earth as a 12 year old having escaped from the doomed Krypton. Having been protected and raised by her foster family, the Danvers, she decides after saving a plane from crashing to embrace her true Superhero nature.
Calista Flockhart returns to the small screen with a role as Cat Grant, a media mogul who Kara works for and Mehcad Brooks plays Jimmy Olsen, the former Daily Planet's former photographer. The UK air date is yet to be announced but network bosses hope to replicate the success of recent Superhero tv shows such as Arrow and The Flash.
