Simon Cowell lifts David Walliams' kilt at Britain's Got Talent auditions
They kick off in Edinburgh
Simon Cowell couldn’t resist taking a look up David Walliams’ kilt at the launch of the Britain’s Got Talent auditions in Edinburgh yesterday (19th January).
Walliams rocked up to the Festival Theatre in traditional Scottish attire and got into the spirit playing bagpipes alongside the Wiliamswood Pipe Band.
Lowering the tone somewhat, Simon, 55, then came over and tried to test whether David was a true Scottish kilt wear by lifting up his garment. Fortunately he was wearing a pair of y-fronts.
Oozing a bit more class, fellow judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon rocked up to the red carpet in stunning dresses.
Following the auditions in Edinburgh, the four judges will then look for the next big name at The Lowry in Manchester, Birmingham’s Hippodrome and The Dominion Theatre in London.
The contestants will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Susan Boyle, Diversity and Paul Potts, who have all achieved huge mainstream success after appearing on the show.
Britain’s Got Talent will be aired on ITV this April.
