Shannen Doherty reveals her breast cancer has spread 'living without a breast is manageable'
Shannen Doherty has an emotional interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Charmed star Shannen Doherty has revealed that her cancer has spread in an emotional interview with Entertainment Tonight (ET).
The 45-year-old actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and had a single mastectomy earlier this year. She has since been having chemo and will require radiation therapy afterwards.
As a result of the chemo Shannen has been losing her hair, something she documented heavily on Instagram last month with the support of her mum and friend Anne Kortright-Shilstat.
"We did a mohawk, which was my favourite" Shannen recounted to ET's Jennifer Peros, "Then we had to finally get the shaver..."
"I didn't want someone to take a picture of me coming out of the grocery store and say 'oh god look at her', I wanted to put it out there."

Continuing her interview with ET Shannen said, "The unknown is always the scariest part. Is the chemo going to work? Is the radiation going to work?
"Everything else is manageable. Pain is manageable, you know, living without a breast is manageable. It's the worry of your future and how your future is going to affect the people that you love."
Many celebrities have had reconstructive surgery following breast cancer, including Christina Applegate, Sharon Osbourne and Angelina Jolie, whose surgeon has been working with Shannen and left her a 'surprise' after her single mastectomy in May.
"He put an expander in and I have a tiny something there." Shannen explained, "It's cute, sometimes we fill it up and make it bigger."
