We caught up with Rita Ora recently backstage at Hits Live to ask her about her birthday plans. The 'Anywhere' singer celebrates her birthday today (Monday 26th November) and revealed she'll be spending in an unusual way!

Rita Ora told Sarah-Jane Crawford that she will be "flying in the air" to Australia as she turns 28! What a way to celebrate! The pop star also revealed that she recently joined Leonardo DiCaprio to celebrate his birthday.

Over the past couple of years, Rita Ora has enjoyed huge success with hits such as 'For You', 'Anywhere' and her collaboration 'Girls' with Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX. Her eagerly-awaited second album ā€˜Phoenixā€™ was released last Friday and includes ā€˜Lonely Togetherā€™, Ritaā€™s collaboration with the late DJ Avicii.

Rita's album 'Phoenix' has been a long time coming, her debut album, 'Ora' was released a massive six years ago in 2012. However, despite not releasing a second album until now, she has had huge success with a string of hit songs.

During the interview Rita opened up about her new music, telling us that some of the songs on her new album will be familiar to her fans.
