The first day at school is nerve-racking for any child, but for four-year-old Prince George with the world's media are watching, it must be even more nerve-racking.
Today is Prince George's first day at Thomas's Battersea in London and earlier today Prince William was seen taking his son to school. Looking very smart in navy shorts, a white shirt and navy jumper with a red trim, Prince George looked nervous as he walked with his dad and Helen Haslem, the Head of the Lower School.
Unfortunately for Prince George his mum, the Duchess of Cambridge, was unable to attend his first day at school, due to the extreme morning sickness she suffers.

The Duke and Duchess were forced to announce they were expecting their third baby earlier this week when she was unwell and had to pull out of a public engagement.
The lovely news was announced on Twitter on Monday.
The Duchess of Cambridge is one of three children, she has a sister, Pippa Matthews, and brother, James Middleton. Prince William has a younger brother, Prince Harry.
Their first child, Prince George is four and was born on the 22nd July 2013. Princess Charlotte is two and was born on 2nd May 2015.
