Man arrested at Taylor Swift’s house after claiming he ‘belonged there’
Scary situation for Taylor
A man has been detained outside of Taylor Swift’s house after he claimed he ‘belonged there’.
The man in question, 25-year-old Lucas Vorsteveld, was apparently ringing the buzzer on the door of Taylor’s New York home and was detained by her security guards until police arrived at the scene.
Paparazzi photos show the man being arrested by police and reports now suggest he has been taken to hospital for a mental health evaluation.
According to reports, Lucas told New York City police department that he ‘belonged there’ and now officers have said that he was ‘emotionally disturbed’.
Due to his behaviour the man was handcuffed before being taken for psychiatric treatment.
Lukas seems to see himself as an aspiring musician and would like to seek guidance from Swifty.

He isn’t the only one, unfortunately for Taylor she has a history with apparent stalkers. Police were called to her LA home back in February when another person was lurking outside and another man has also been arrested in the past for similar disturbances.
Taylor wasn’t at home during the incident, instead the pop superstar was in Los Angeles receiving ‘The Taylor Swift Award’. The singer was recognised by Broadcast Music Inc (BMI) for her ‘artistic talent and influence’.

The ‘Bad Blood’ singer is only the second ever person to receive an award named after themselves. Music legend, Michael Jackson was the first back in 1990.
Well done Swifty!
