Louis Walsh reveals Simon Cowell used to blame him for falling ratings
He hits out at the boss and Cheryl
Louis Walsh doesn’t tend to keep quiet when he’s not happy about something and this time he’s hit out at Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
With rumours that The X Factor is failing to get the ratings it hoped for – Louis believes he knows why.
The former judge said Simon’s made too many changes, which has messed up the show. These include replacing former host Dermot O’Leary with Olly Murs and Caroline Flack and having a panel without Louis.
Speaking to a magazine he said "Simon has messed with it too much. It was an experiment that didn't really work.
He also hit out at Cheryl, saying that her and Rita are similar in the way they judge but implied Rita is a better singer and performer.
Despite all this the Irish star hasn’t ruled out returning to the show – but only when the ‘mistakes’ are undone.
Louis Walsh was on the show for 10 years before leaving earlier this year.
