Liam Payne hits out at Louis Walsh after he blasts Cheryl in interview
It has all kicked off
Just when we thought Louis Walsh and Cheryl had made up, last night a whole new storm erupted after Louis seemed to slam his former colleague, leading Liam Payne to defend his girlfriend.
When Louis was at a press conference with his band Five After Midnight ahead of The X Factor final, things turned sour when a journalist asked him if he would like to see Cheryl return to the show as a judge.
In the interview he said, “Well Simon wouldn't invite Cheryl back because we have Nicole. We have Nicole and Sharon, we don't need another girl. So go and f*** off now! No silly questions, seriously. It's not about Cheryl. Don't be stupid, man."
When Liam was made aware of Louis’ outburst, the 23-year-old took to Twitter to vent his anger. He wrote, 'Congratulations Louis Walsh for setting the worst example on handling media for his band who are about to step into a very hard industry'.
He then added, 'Maybe it's about time you realise it's not all about you and shut the f*** up for once, let them speak'.
It was then clear to audiences that they weren’t the best of friends when they both appeared on The X Factor panel together.
Earlier in the year Louis then fuelled more trouble when he told a journalist the girls didn’t like each other and that he thought Nadine Coyle was the only member who could sing. (Oh Louis!)
Amidst all the latest drama, Cheryl and Liam stepped out in public for the first time in weeks together last week and seemingly ‘revealed’ they were expecting their first child together.
Wearing an open coat over a green knitted jumper, Cheryl glowed as she made her way into the church with boyfriend Liam and didn’t seem to mind that her ‘bump’ was on show.

Despite this the pair still haven’t officially confirmed anything regarding a baby.
