Kim Kardashian answers Bruce Jenner transgender rumours
She refuses to confirm or deny the speculation
Kim Kardashian has spoken for the first time about the rumours claiming her stepdad Bruce Jenner is transitioning to become a woman.
Appearing on US TV show Entertainment Tonight, Kim refused to confirm or deny the speculation but did insist “he’s the happiest I’ve ever seen.”
Asked by anchor Kevin Frazier about the rumours, Kim said: “We support Bruce no matter what. On this one I will say that I think Bruce should tell his story his way.”
Pushed about whether Bruce is ‘going through something’, Kim added: “I think everyone goes through things in life but I do think that that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right.
In recent weeks and months, photos have emerged of former Olympic gold medallist Bruce, 65, sporting increasingly long hair prompting speculation in magazines and tabloids.
US magazine InTouch Weekly was widely criticised after it superimposed Bruce’s face over Dynasty actress Stephanie Beacham for their cover.
Bruce split from Kim’s mum, Kris Jenner, after 22 years of marriage in 2013.
