John tells Stu about his Oscars selfie moment, and being friends with Kanye
Talking about his single All of Me, John tells Stu who he wrote it for, "I wrote it for my wife - she wasn't my wife at the time, we were planning to get married. I wrote it in honour of our relationship. She cried and she loved it."
John also talked about how his relationship with Kanye West began, "We were both at the beginning of each other's careers - you could say he discovered me but we were both unknown at the time.
"He was an up-and-coming producer, his cousin was my room-mate and she introduced us and we've been working with each other ever since. We've hung out socially many times over the years, we've toured together, he was at my wedding - we go way back."
When Stu asked him what his last celebrity selfie was, John said, "I just did one with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, for some reason a lot of people think we look alike. I've seen the side-by-sides that they put online so I decided we should do one physically side-by-side. We were at an Oscars post-party and we took a photo together."
