Ex Strictly dancers James and Ola Jordan reveal IVF plans after careers stalled family dreams
They've been trying for a couple of years

Former Strictly Come Dancing professionals James and Ola Jordan have revealed that they're starting IVF treatment in a bid to become parents. The couple, who have been married since 2003, have opened up about their heartbreak at being unable to conceive naturally after trying for a couple of years.
Expressing their shock that it hasn't been as easy as they'd anticipated, 40-year-old James and 37-year-old Ola discussed the irony of not being able to conceive after years of trying not to, so that their careers as dancers weren't affected.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, Ola said, "I would love to be a mum with all my heart and I just thought it would happen naturally. James is also desperate to have babies and I just wish it could have happened by now - that's the one gift I would love to give him.
"I guess I just thought, like most women, that I could choose when the time was right for me; that I could have my career and then have a baby when it felt right. But for us it just hasn't happened like that."
Adding that they've found it difficult to discuss having children after struggling to conceive, the couple have settled on IVF to achieve their dream. James, who is currently starring on Dancing On Ice, said, "The irony is that for 17 years during our career we tried not to have children because dancing is not a career that easily fits in with family life.
"When we finally did try, it was a sting to realise we couldn't conceive straight away. After consultations we've realised we are one of the lucky ones and that, with help, hopefully one day we can realise our baby dreams."
