Fans think they've figured out the name of Cheryl and Liam's son

Fans of Cheryl and Liam Payne have been quite frankly having a bit of a meltdown over the fact they think they have figured out the biggest mystery since how did life on earth begin, just what is the name of their new baby boy?

According to the website famousbirthdays.com the baby's name has been listed as Taylor Payne. This might just be some elaborate joke but Liam did say in an interview a few years back that male or female he wanted to call his first child Taylor as he loved the name.

Of course there's been no confirmation from either camp about whether this is the little ones name, however they are running out of time to register.

Cheryl and Liam broke the news that they'd welcomed their first child together on Saturday 25th March by posting an adorable snap of baby Payne in his daddy's arms.

The former Girls Aloud singer shared details about her new arrival and confirmed he was born on Wednesday 22nd March, weighing 7lb 9.

She wrote, 'On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream. Although he still doesn't have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever 💙'

Sharing less details about his son and more about his own feelings, Liam admitted he was 'speechless' and told fans it was his 'favourite memory' from his life so far.

He wrote, 'My close friends and family know there are very few times when I'm left speechless... wow!'

'I'm incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it's a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far.'

'I'm completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she's really made my dreams come true. We haven't named him yet but he's already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed.'

'Happy Mother's Day everyone!'

Despite Cheryl staying quiet since the birth, proud dad Liam couldn't resist updating fans on how he was finding fatherhood not long after the birth.

In a tweet composed at 2.31am, Liam shared a hilarious gif of Ross from TV show Friends shouting "NO! No, no!" alongside the caption, 'When the fourth nappy happens in 5 minutes'.

The 'History' singer also thanked fans and friends for all of their messages of support for the couple.

Fans thought they were given the first glimpse of the little one in April when Cheryl's hair stylist Daya Ruci uploaded a snap of a newborn baby to his Snapchat account.

Of course fans were quick to speculate if the baby in the snap was baby Payne as it was reported Daya had been with Cheryl over the Easter weekend.

Despite this, it was never confirmed and both Cheryl and Liam have since not shared any snaps of their little one!

Just a few weeks after welcoming his son with Cheryl, Liam flew out to America to reportedly put the final touches to his debut solo album. The former One Direction has since kept fans updated on his Instagram account.
