Daniel Radcliffe beats Jamie Dornan & Andy Murray to Rear of the Year title
A truly prestigious honour.
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has stormed to victory in one of the most prestigious awards around – the Rear of the Year title.
Likely to be taking pride of place in Daniel’s ever-expanding trophy cabinet, the 25-year-old actor – who appeared nude in West End play Equus – triumphed ahead of Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan and tennis champ Andy Murray.
Over 10,000 people had their say in the hotly contested annual poll that’s split between two categories – male and female.
The other winner was Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh who seemed absolutely delighted with the honour and, unlike Daniel, was happy to pose for photos.
Beating off stiff competition from her Corrie co-star Michelle Keegan and two-time winner Carol Vorderman, Kym, 39, said: "I’d like to thank everyone from the heart of my bottom for voting for me. It’s totally unexpected but greatly appreciated.
"I’m very flattered to receive this award, it looks like all those extra gym sessions have paid off."
Daniel follows in the hallowed footsteps of Rear of the Year luminaries Olly Murs, Will Young, John Barrowman, Vincent Simone, Graham Norton and Ian Wright.
Previous female winners include Fiona Bruce, Falvia Cacace, Rachel Stevens, Jennifer Ellison, Nell McAndrew and Charlotte Church.
