Georgia May Foote hits back at rumours she’s dating Love Island star in angry video
She says the rumours are impacting her mental health
Ever since he appeared on Love Island last year, Chris Hughes has had a whirlwind year in regards to his love life. After splitting from his Love Island girlfriend Olivia Attwood for good, Chris has since been linked to a number of different ladies.
After his split from Olivia was documented on their TV show Chris and Olivia: Crackin' On, Chris was linked to former Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote, before Made In Chelsea's Emily Blackwell seemed to confirm she was dating the reality star.
Chris then seemed to confirm he was dating Georgia to a national newspaper, before then denying it again.
Confused yet? 🤔
Now, in an even bigger twist to the story, Georgia May Foote has now hit back at the rumours and revealed she is 100% single.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a video of herself, Georgia did not sound happy as she revealed all of the recent drama has not been good for her mental health.
She said in a video, “My private life is my private life, and I’m choosing not to date anyone at the moment because I did not choose to be in this position in the first place, so please leave me alone.
“How is my mental health meant to get better when you’re just constantly attacking me? I’ve just had enough and I wish people knew what it felt like, to just constantly wake up and read stupid crap about myself. I’m an actress, I’ve been doing this since I was eight years old and I’m nothing but that. So please, can you just leave me alone."
“The rant is probably the worst thing I could do, and I’m sorry to the people who are really supportive and don’t listen and read this stuff. Nobody knows what the last three years of my life have been like – I wish you did, but you don’t.
“I’ve been in this industry for 19 years and I’ve worked my absolute a--- off to be where I am now, as it’s my passion and my love and it’s what I want to do, and a paper can slander your name and there’s nothing you can do.”
She then added, “Last one I promise – if I’ve got something to tell you, I’ll tell you. And if I don’t want to tell you, I won’t tell you. And that should be respected. And that goes for all the other actresses and people in the public eye.”

In completely brand new information - Marcel was in the 90's band Blazin Squad. WE KNOW RIGHT. He's so modest about that sort of thing.

She previously dated Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice after the pair were paired together for the show in 2015.
