Before entering the Celebrity Big Brother house, former Ex On The Beach star Jess Impiazzi revealed she'd recently split from her boyfriend, but now it has been revealed she was actually married to him.
In an interview with a national newspaper, that has recently been published, Jess revealed she secretly married rugby star Denny Solomona during a holiday to Las Vegas in 2016.
After marrying in secret at Little White Wedding Chapel on the infamous Vegas strip, Jess and Denny's romance didn't work out and now the reality star is seeking a divorce from the sportsman.
Speaking to a national newspaper before entering the CBB house, Jess said, "Denny was the love of my life and the man I thought I was destined to have children with. When he got down on one knee there was never a doubt about saying yes.
"I thought we would have a normal wedding, but before I could blink we were walking down the aisle in the same place Britney got married."
She added, "I was so happy. But when we got back to England he got back into bad old habits and started going out partying again.
“By last summer I simply could not take it any more and we broke up. Now I’m waiting for our divorce papers to come through."
Jess, who has gained a strong fan following since she entered the CBB house, even spoke about the whirlwind day, where she married at the same location as Britney Spears in 2004.
She told the publication, "It was the middle of the afternoon. I put on the white dress I wore to the Reality TV Awards the year before and Denny wore a mismatched suit — brown shoes, black jeans and navy blue blazer.
"It was nerve-wracking but romantic and hilarious. It was only after that I got a bit upset because my mum wasn’t there. We went back to the Venetian hotel, had a burger and went to bed as we were so tired from jet lag."
Meanwhile, Jess is getting on well with her fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemates and has created budding friendships with the likes of Malika Haqq and Ashley James.
In other CBB news, transgender newsreader India Willoughby was the first celebrity to get evicted during Friday night's live show, when she received fewer votes than former Love Island star Jonny Mitchell.
After annoying her fellow housemates with her 'game plan', India found herself up against Jonny for the first eviction of the series.
Speaking to Emma Willis after departing the house, India confirmed she had a game plan and said, "I was psyched up to mix it a little bit. Maybe have some confrontations; just stir things up, cause a little bit of trouble. But it’s not that sort of house.”
Celebrity Big Brother continues every night at 9pm on Channel 5.
