Cambridge University gets funding for a Professor of Lego
The £2.5million grant for a Professor of Lego has quite rightly been accepted!
Could this be the best job in the world? Cambridge University have announced a brand new role - Professor of Lego.
The university have accepted a £2.5million grant from the Lego Foundation to set up a Lego Professorship of Play in Education, Development and Learning, according to The Cambridge University Reporter.
They've also been given at additional £1.5million to set-up a research centre in their Faculty of Education for Play in Education, Development and Learning.
The lucky professor will start the role on 1st October 2015. Whether the applicants will need to show their handiness with the famous blocks in the interview process, remains to be seen.
