Last night the National Television Awards (NTAs) took place and it was an emotional night. There were many highlights from the night including Ant and Dec winning Best Presenter for the 17th year in a row, and a moving tribute to Bruce Forsyth. We look at some of the best moments below.
1. Ant gets emotional during his acceptance speech
For an amazing 17th time in a row Ant and Dec won the Best TV Presenter Award. When they took to the stage Ant decided to make an emotional speech addressing his "tough 12 months".
He told the audience, “It’s been a very emotional night tonight. It’s been quite a year. It’s been quite a tough 12 months so winning this tonight really means a lot, so thank you for all your support, it really means the world to me, it’s helped me get through."
Ant then turned to his presenting partner Dec and said, “And thanks to you little guy, I love you man.”

2. A moving tribute to Bruce Forsyth
This is the first NTAs to take place after the iconic TV presenter Bruce Forsyth sadly passed away. On the night, he was remembered by a performance of 'I’ve Got You Under My Skin' which was one of his favourite songs.
A newly named Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award was also awarded to the unstoppable Ant and Dec for Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

3. David Attenborough gave an inspiring speech
The Blue Planet II production team was awarded this year's Impact Award and the programme's presenter Sir David Attenborough took to the microphone. Sir David gave an amazing speech about the world's oceans, and issue of pollution. He explained how the crew on the programme spent years gathering the footage that we saw on TV.
He told the audience, “It was the pictures that were created by the cameramen, and the cameramen that dived into the ocean to get them. Who spent three-and-a-half, four years in doing so.
Continuing, "If our television’s programmes have helped stir the consciousness of people around the world. And we are going to do something to protect our beautiful world, then all of us will be very pleased."
4. Paul O'Grady wins the Special Recognition Award
Comedian Paul O'Grady was awarded this year's Special Recognition Award for his work on For the Love of Dogs. The ITV programme followed Paul as he met some of the dogs at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
Amazingly on the night there was even a dog in the audience to cheer him on!
5. Bradley Walsh crashed the stage
Bradley Walsh didn't win the Best Daytime Show Award which The Chase was nominated for, but that didn't stop him taking to the stage! He decided join the winners from This Morning on** **stage then they accepted the Best Daytime Show Award.

6. Dermot O’Leary deals with a stage invader
Bradley Walsh wasn't the only stage invader! At one point host Dermot O'Leary had to remove an unwanted stage invader during the show! TV viewers wouldn't have seen it, as they were watching a video, however Dermot dealt with the man who was quickly removed from the stage.
Dermot was pictured calmly dealing with the stage invader, talking to him and calming him down before security stepped in and removed him from the stage.
During the event, TOWIE star Megan McKenna was also taken ill and had to be rushed to hospital. It is now believed that she is recovering at home.
The National Television Awards took place last night and are all voted for by the public, via post, telephone and online.
