Kai Bowman

Kai Bowman is 5 years old and just started school in August 2011.

Kai's parents applied for a grant to help fund a prosthetic hand. Kai was born without his right hand and all he wanted for Christmas 2011 was a new hand. His family were launching a fundraising appeal to fund prosthetic limbs for Kai to see him into adulthood.

The cost for the first limb was £6050 and Radio Forth’s Cash for Kids were delighted to be able to fund (in Kai’s words) his “new robot hand”.
