£96,871 granted to support 6,379 local children

In June 2018 Radio Forth Cash for Kids has granted over £96,000 to groups, charities and individual children who needed a helping hand throughout Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.
We'll have some of their stories to share soon, but here's who we've supported and what the funding will be used for.
YOU made all of this possible!
Funding for School Holiday Clubs, to make sure children don’t go without in the Summer holidays, was granted to Craigentinny-Lochend Social Centre, Community One Stop Shop, Family and Community Support Team, Kirkcaldy YMCA, Big Hearts Community Trust, The Cottage Family Centre, Pilton Youth & Children's Project, Edinburgh City Youth Cafes and Spartans Community Football Academy.
We helped Clovenstone Primary School get costumes for their end of school play.
A snow plough for Ravelrig Riding for the Disabled Association.
Yoga Therapy for children living in care with St. Andrew’s Children’s Society.
Activities for children living in poverty at the Jack Kane Community Centre.
Hospital and Hospice entertainment with Pod Charitable Trust.
A Photography Course for young carers at Edinburgh Young Carers.
Family Passes for activities with Signpost.
Days out for children from vulnerable backgrounds with Home-Start West Lothian.
Funding for a Youth befriender programme at The Broomhouse Centre.
Day trips for homeless children.
Specialist equipment for children with autism and disabilities at Lothian Autistic Society.
Funding for St. Mary’s Breakfast Club.
Summer programmes for Women’s Aid East and Midlothian and Circle.
Summer days out for Grandparents Parenting Again & Kinship Carers Midlothian.
Activities for Fife Kinship Carers.
Support for individual children - including a Safe Space Garden, a Summer House for a girl with disabilities, an adapted trike for a little boy, furniture for a child living in poverty, a slide and trampoline for a little girl with Autism, ABA Therapy, and a Hydro Therapy Pool for a girl with Cerebral Palsy.
