The incident happened at an address in West Main Street in Armadale at about 8.40pm on Tuesday. Two men have since been discharged from hospital.
Police Scotland said two men aged 27 and 18 have been charged with attempted murder in connection with the incident.
They were expected to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday.
Detective inspector Keith MacKay said: Thanks to the assistance of the public, local officers swiftly arrested two men in connection with an incident on West Main Street on February 2.
Our inquiries into this matter are ongoing as we look to trace all those involved.''
