Tram Journey Times To Be Reduced By Five Minutes

The boss of Edinburgh's tram system say a new timetable, with quicker journey times, will be released later this year. General Manager, Tom Norris says the initial timings were overly pessimistic and they reckon they can shave around five minutes from off-peak trips between Edinburgh Airport and York Place.

The current journey time is about 40 minutes. He revealed the plan after a survey of passengers suggested 95% of the trams users are satisfied with the service. But overall satisfaction with journey times is significantly lower, at 86%
