A man's in hospital with what's described as 'non-life threatening' injuries after an accident which triggered massive tailbacks across west Edinburgh.
The collision between the pedestrian and a transit van happened at the junction of Queensferry Road and Clermiston Road at about 7am.
The busy junction was closed for nearly three hours.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police in Edinburgh were in attendance after a serious road collision on Queensferry Road around 7am Thursday 21st January 2016.
"A 20-year-old pedestrian was involved in a collision with a transit van and was conveyed to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
"There were road closures in place on Queensferry Road at the junction with Clermiston Road but the road was reopened at 9.50 am.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Police on 101."
