Passenger injured after falling masonry smashes bus window in Edinburgh

A man's been "slightly injured" after strong winds caused a chimney pot to fall and smash a bus window in Edinburgh.

The Lothian number 31 double decker was struck on Nicolson Street at around 9.44am today (26th Jan).

The passenger's hand was cut and bruised.

The road was closed in both directions for a number of hours but has since re-opened.
