Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Refuse Truck In Gorgie
A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was hit by a bin lorry in Edinburgh.
The incident involved a private refuse vehicle and occurred on Gorgie Park Road at around 6am.
He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and his condition has been described as serious.
Gorgie Park Road was closed to traffic and police have urged anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
