Man arrested in connection with Scottish Cup final day assault
The incident's alleged to have happened at Haymarket Station
A man has been arrested over an alleged assault at a station in Edinburgh on the day of the Scottish Cup Final.
A 37-year-old Rangers fan was taken to hospital with a head injury following an incident at Haymarket station on May 21.
It's said to have happened on platform three at about 9.45pm. The man has since been released from hospital.
British Transport Police said a 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later today (9th June).
