Police in Fife have released further CCTV images of two men they wish to trace in connection with an armed robbery in Kirkcaldy on Friday, January 29. The incident occurred at around 10:40am at the TSB branch on Dunearn Drive and resulted in a sum of money being stolen. Detectives leading the investigation are carrying out various lines of inquiry. They believe the two men shown in the CCTV may be able to assist them with their investigation and would ask any members of the public who recognise them to come forward. The first male is described as white, in his late 20’s or early 30’s with dark stubble on his face. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark coloured baseball cap and dark coloured clothing. The second male is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, around 30 years old, of medium build and with stubble. At the time of this incident, he wore a dark coloured baseball cap, dark blue/grey hooded top and dark coloured trainers. He also wore dark blue jogging bottoms with a distinctive white coloured motif running partially down one leg. Officers would also be interested to hear from anyone who is able to assist with identifying the brand of this clothing. Both males were seen riding on bicycles on Alford Avenue around the time of the incident. There is information to suggest that at least one of them may be from Eastern Europe. Detective Inspector Colin Robson of Kirkcaldy CID said: “The public response to our recent appeals has been tremendous and I’m extremely grateful to everyone who has, thus far, contacted police. "We continue to pursue various lines of inquiry in relation to this extremely serious offence and officers are working tirelessly to trace those responsible. The public can rest assured that all information received will be acted upon.” Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact Fife CID on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
