The collapse of West Lothian building firm the Dunne Group has delayed work on a new Maggie's Cancer Centre.

The facility is under construction in the grounds of Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert.

The charity says it is putting other arrangements in place to try to minimise the disruption at the site which is due to be completed by the end of this year.

The company was also involved in work on the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.

A total of 524 people were made redundant when Dunne was placed in administration, with around 200 of the jobs going in Scotland.
