Cyclist Dies Six Days After Smash On A92

A cyclist who was involved in a collision with a car in Fife early on Saturday morning has died in hospital. 49-year-old David Christie passed away at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy on Thursday afternoon. He had been critically injured in an accident involving a silver Vauxhall Corsa in Freuchie at 4.40am. In a statement released through police, his family said, "David was a much loved son and father. He will be hugely missed by family and friends. "David's family want to thank the staff in the Intensive Care Unit for being so kind and caring while looking after him. "The family is finding it extremely difficult to come to terms with this tragic loss".
