CCTV Images Released As Police Hunt 'Vicious' Attackers In North Edinburgh
Police in Edinburgh have released CCTV images of four suspects they want to speak about a 'vicious' assault on a man and woman in the north of the city.
Both attacks happened at around 1am on Sunday, 31st May outside a pub in Laverockbank Road, Newhaven,
A 34-year-old man and woman, aged 28, were assaulted by three men and one woman.
They both suffered serious facial injuries.
Detective Sergeant Robert Richardson said: "This was a vicious and unprovoked attack, which has left the victims with significant injuries.
"The people within the CCTV footage are of interest to our investigation and anyone who recognises them is asked to come forward.
"In addition, anyone with any further information relevant to these incidents should also contact police immediately."
