WATCH: Peter Andre finds out what it is like to 'give birth'
He tried on a birth simulator.
Honorary 'loose woman' Peter Andre decided to find out what it was like to 'give birth' so he could be a better birthing partner to his wife Emily.
It was nothing like he expected.
The 43-year-old singer appeared on today's episode of Loose Women having previously been to a clinic in Amsterdam where he experienced what it was like to give birth, using a birth simulator.
The piece of equipment which is strapped to his abdomen uses electrical impulses to replicate the pain that women feel when they give birth.
Starting at Stage One (early contractions) Peter then progressed all the way through to Stage Three which is when a woman would normally be 10cm dilated and about to give birth.
Speaking on the TV show Peter explained, "It is nothing you'd ever expect. It's absolutely horrific! Nothing in the world prepared me for that.... they say that guys can relate to it if you've had kidney stones and I've had kidney stones and let me tell you, I would have another twenty kidney stones rather than go through that again! That was hell."
On the video the 'Mysterious Girl' singer can be seen using gas and air to help alleviate the pain.
After going through the experience he said that would be his "only child", however he could see it had immediately changed him as he now knew what it was like for his wife.
He and Emily MacDonagh married last year in a fairytale wedding just outside Exeter in Devon. The couple, who already have a two-year-old daughter together, announced Emily's second pregnancy earlier this year and she is due to give birth very soon.
