Tetley Tea are looking out for two lucky people to travel the world drinking and tasting tea. It’s a hard task, but there’s bound to be a few people interested.
The company are advertising for two Graduate Trainee Tea Buyers, located at Tetley’s Headquarters in London.
The training does sound tough…sampling up to 300 teas a day to develop the palette.
Once complete the buyers are sent across the world, to visit different tea growing regions to learn more about where tea comes from and how it is made.
Other responsibilities include supporting buyers, organising tastings and monitoring stocks in the supply chain.
To apply for the role you really do need to be a tea lover, plus Tetley require a 2:2 or above in any degree discipline.
Strong analytical skills, the ability to work well under pressure, a knowledge of Excel and excellent communication skills are desired too.

Dine in style against the majestic background of The Fitzwilliam Hotel and enjoy one of the afternoon teas that they have on offer. Choose, one of their delicious cocktails, speciality teas along with a selection of scrumptious sandwiches and savoury treats. Afternoon tea at The Fitzwilliam Hotel costs £27 per couple and if wish to have to cocktail with tea, the price is £35 per couple.
The Merchant Hotel
Set in the sumptuous splendour of The Great Room Restaurant, Afternoon Tea in The Merchant Hotel is a truly elegant and utterly delicious experience not to be missed. The experience includes a range of sandwiches such as smoked salmon with avocado cream cheese and samphire, and confit chicken with mayonnaise, herbs and watercress. Banana bread and freshly baked plain and fruit scones is also served. And lastly (the best layer) is the hotel's patisserie with an assortment of cakes and pastries including; cherry and tonka bean crèmeux, a lemon and raspberry tartlet and a salted caramel and Valrhona Tainori chocolate gateau.
Malmaison Hotel

La Mon Hotel
