In news that will seriously enhance your summer plans, Rekorderlig have released a series of brand new flavours that look incredible - and one of them apparently tastes like Parma Violets.

Officially named as a Blackberry And Violet flavour, the bottle is part of the brand's new Premium Botanicals range, and is an incredible pretty purple colour. Not only is it 4%, but it's also gluten free and vegan-friendly!

At £2 for a 330ml bottle, you really can't go wrong - but it gets better when you realise that the delicious-looking drink is actually on offer at Tesco on a three for £5.25 deal!

Also included in new range are flavours Rhubarb Lemon Mint, Peach And Basil and Grapefruit And Rosemary, and they're all in the offer along with original flavours Mango And Raspberry, Wild Berries, Strawberry-Lime and Passion Fruit.

People have taken to Twitter to share their awe at the new flavour, with many seeming incredulous over the innovative taste. One wrote, 'Parma violet cider shouldn't work, but it really does', and another added, 'Parma violet cider oddly tastes good too.'

After being off the shelves for years, Tiffin made its comeback in 2016. Hallelujah!

Rekorderlig isn't the only cider brand to bring out a Parma Violets-flavoured cider, as cider brand Brothers brought out their very own Parma Violets cider in March this year. They said of the flavour, 'Parma Violet has arrived, a delicate flavour of sweet violets with a subtle hint of floral notes and delicious local Somerset apples. Brothers Parma Violet cider is perfectly refreshing and best served over ice.'
