Buckingham Palace full statement after Harry and Meghan's interview
"The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
"The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.
"Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members."
What happened in the interview?
During the interview, the Duchess of Sussex told of the disastrous impact on her mental health, while Harry detailed his strained relationship with his father, Prince Charles.
Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex also said that there had been "several conversations" about the colour of their son's skin while Meghan was pregnant with Archie, however she refused to relay who had made the comments.
Oprah has since confirmed that Prince Harry told her the comments were not made by the Queen or the Duke of Edinburgh.
