Murder investigation launched after stabbing in Ipswich
A woman in her twenties has died

Police have launched a murder investigation after a fatal stabbing in Ipswich.
Emergency services were called to Burrell Road shortly after 7.10pm yesterday (6th August) following reports that a woman had been stabbed.
Officers attended and found a woman, in her twenties, with serious injuries.
Despite their best efforts, the woman died shortly after they arrived.
There is a police cordon at the scene and a road closure is in place at Burrell Road while enquiries take place.
No arrests have been made at this time.
"An increased police presence"
Detective Chief Inspector Tam Burgess said: "Emergency services, including a number of police resources, were deployed to the scene and those in the area will continue to see an increased police presence throughout tonight and the coming days.
"A murder investigation has been launched and we are in the early stages of our enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident, however it is believed the parties are known to each other.
"We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information, no matter how small you may feel it is."
