Devon and Cornwall Police share insight into work
Officers posted updates through the night on the various incidents they tend to be called to
Devon and Cornwall Police have been tweeting all their 999 and 101 call outs as part of a special project on social media.
Between 3pm yesterday and 3am today they've dealt with a wide range of incidents and emergencies.
They've included reports of missing people, a stabbing and an oil spill.
Teams have also been called out to multiple incidents of violence, suspected domestic abuse and requests for mental health support.
Here's a round up of some of the posts put out by the force.
Officers say the aim of the 12 hour campaign was to highlight the number of incidents they deal with, as well as the variety of cases they're called to.
They're hoping it'll give people in Devon and Cornwall and further afield a greater understanding of the pressures facing policing at the moment.
