Two teenagers charged with attempted murder after Sheffield stabbing

The boys - aged 17 and 18 - have been remanded in custody

Two teenagers have been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Sheffield city centre.

A 26 year old man remains in hospital in a stable condition after being seriously injured on West Street in the early hours of yesterday (March 9).

18 year old Leon Sykes, of Victoria Street in Stocksbridge, and a 17 year old boy who can't be named for legal reasons have been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Both have been remanded in custody are due to appear before Sheffield Magistrates' Court tomorrow (March 11).
